Travel & Stay

Getting There & Where to Stay

Everything you need to plan your trip to Sydney.

Flying In? Book Early

Sydney is a long way from most of the world, and flights only get more expensive the longer you leave it — so once you've RSVP'd, we'd encourage you to lock in flights sooner rather than later.

Via Singapore

Our top recommendation. Singapore Airlines consistently offers great fares, a superb in-flight experience, and a stopover at Changi Airport — widely considered the best airport in the world. Think rooftop pool, free cinema, indoor waterfall, butterfly garden, and more. It's a highlight before you've even landed.

Middle East hubs

Emirates, Qatar, and Etihad fly to Sydney and can be competitively priced — but given ongoing regional instability, we'd suggest routing via Asia if you have the choice.

Don't forget your visa

Most international visitors need a valid visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) before travelling to Australia. Apply early to avoid any last-minute stress — you can check your options via the Australian Government's Visa Finder.

The Venue

Getting to the Venue

Atholl Hall sits right on the harbour — steps from the Taronga Zoo Wharf ferry stop.

Ferry

The best way to arrive. Catch a ferry from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo Wharf (~25 min), then a 10-minute walk to the venue. Scenic and stress-free.

Bus

Routes 244 and 245 run from Wynyard station to Mosman. Tap on with your credit card or phone — no Opal card needed.

Taxi / Uber

Around 15–20 min from the CBD. Readily available throughout the day and evening.

Drive

~15–20 min from the city via the Harbour Bridge. Street parking in Mosman is limited on a Friday afternoon — we'd recommend the ferry if you can.

Where to Stay

Sydney can be pricey, so we've pulled together a mix of areas to suit a range of budgets — all within easy reach of the venue and the city.

Manly

Beach holiday vibes with great restaurants and a direct ferry to the city. About 20 min drive to the venue. Perfect for a full Sydney beach getaway.

Neutral Bay / Cremorne / Mosman

5–10 min drive to the venue, 10–15 min bus to the CBD. Best for pure convenience.

The Rocks

Iconic harbour views, historic cobblestone streets, and right next to Circular Quay for a direct ferry to the venue. ~25 min by ferry.

North Sydney

Handy and well connected, with hotels often cheaper on weekends. A quick hop across the bridge to the city. ~10–15 min to venue.

Surry Hills / Woolloomooloo

Sydney's best cafes, bars and restaurants, plus the harbourside Finger Wharf at Woolloomooloo. A short Uber or bus to the city. ~25–30 min to venue.

Bondi / Coogee

Sydney's famous eastern beaches, home to the iconic coastal walk, great cafes and surf. A scenic base, though a little further out. ~30–40 min to venue.

A few other areas worth a look: Cammeray, Crows Nest and Lane Cove are quieter areas that are friendly on the budget, while Fairlight is a great seaside spot right next to Manly.

FAQ

Everything you need to know

Can't find your answer here? Drop us a message and we'll get back to you.

RSVP & Deadlines

Please RSVP by 1st August 2026. This gives us enough time to finalise numbers with the venue and caterers.

Invitations are extended to those named on the invitation. If you're unsure or would like to bring a plus one, please reach out directly as soon as possible.

Please include your dietary requirements in the RSVP form — there's a field specifically for this. The venue is well set up to cater for most requirements.

On the Day

Black tie. We want you to feel your best — dress up and enjoy it. Please note the ceremony will be held on grass outside, so keep that in mind for footwear.

A note on colour: we'd love it if guests avoided wearing white or ivory.

The ceremony begins at 3:30 pm — please aim to arrive by 3:00 pm and be seated by 3:15 pm.

We love your little ones, but this is an adult-only celebration. We hope you can arrange childcare and enjoy a night off — you've earned it! If you need help finding a babysitter, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Yes — we'd love for you to be fully present during the ceremony. Please keep phones away and on silent while we say our vows. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully. Feel free to snap away during the reception!

Getting There & Parking

There is limited street parking in the Mosman area, but we strongly recommend arriving by ferry or Uber — parking on a Friday afternoon can be tricky. The Taronga Zoo Wharf ferry from Circular Quay drops you a ten-minute walk from the venue.

Details on end-of-night transport are still being finalised — check back closer to the date. In the meantime, Uber and taxis are readily available from the venue.

For our family and friends joining us from overseas, please note that most international visitors require a valid visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) before travelling to Australia. We recommend checking your visa requirements well in advance and applying early to avoid any last-minute stress.

You can explore your options and find the most suitable visa for your circumstances via the Australian Government's Visa Finder tool.

Gifts

Your presence truly is the greatest gift — we mean that! If you'd like to give something, a contribution towards our honeymoon or baby fund would be wonderful. You can do so via PayPal, or visit our Registry page for details.

After the Reception

Yes — the night doesn't end at 11 pm! We're planning an after party for those who want to keep the celebration going. Location and details to be confirmed closer to the date.

Our Story

How it all began

Bridge and Zouz
May 2019
How It All Began

Bridge invited Zouz and his mate Jay over for a party the week after they moved in next door, and somehow they never really stopped hanging out.

June 2019
The First Date

For our first official date, Zouz took Bridge to the incredibly fancy establishment known as The Anchor in Clapham (aka the local pub). Zouz dressed up. Bridge wore Birkenstocks. Somehow, there was a second date.

September 2019
The First Adventure

A conversation over the fence about holidays somehow turned into a week-long trip to Slovenia.

2020–2022
The COVID & Travel Years

Between lockdowns, road trips, camping trips, and plenty of travel, new adventures quickly became the biggest part of our relationship.

January 2022
Going Down Under

After 10 years abroad, Bridge was ready to move back to Australia, and after just one short conversation, Zouz decided to come too.

December 2025
The Proposal

Despite involving half the people we know to help plan, Zouz somehow managed to keep a proposal in the Cotswolds a surprise.

April 2027
The Big Day

After all our adventures and travels, we're so excited to bring all our favourite people together in one place to celebrate this next chapter and share a little piece of the life we've built here.
